On Bank Holiday Monday May 28th tens of thousands of people attended the 2019 annual agriculture show. As the North East’s premier agriculture and farming event the show, held in Bywell near Stocksfield , attracts families from around the region, offering the chance to experience the best of rural life. Heavy rain and generally damp and overcast conditions did not deter our intrepid team of enthusiastic volunteers from engaging with hundreds of the visitors and sharing our prostate cancer experiences and knowledge. Over 800 z-cards, one of our information leaflets, were handed out, £120 was raised through donations and the new gazebo proved to be a great attraction. It also kept us dry!.
