Consett & District Golf club has donated a generous prize of a 4 ball@ Consett. The course is an 18 hole, mature parkland course formed in 1911 and redesigned by Harry Vardon a few years later. A course review has recently been completed with the yardage now being 6083 yards. The course is set in 100 acres of the beautiful Derwent Valley on the county border between Durham and Northumberland. The course offers an enjoyable experience for all ages and golfing abilities. Consett Golf Club has a reputation second to none for its friendly atmosphere and excellent bar and catering facilities. It is the perfect location to complete your day's golf, have a meal, take some refreshment and enjoy the breathtaking views.
