With 30 years playing experience and 19 years guitar teaching experience, I have produced a high number of guitar players ranging from happy strummers to the more serious pro musician. Some of my students have even gone on to achieve professional employment within the music industry.
I can teach you from scratch, so no previous musical experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn. Or if you already have some guitar playing experience and are looking for some fresh ideas or to brush up on your technique a bit then I can also accommodate.
If you don't yet own a guitar but would like to book a lesson first to see how you get on with guitar lessons before investing, then I can provide a guitar for the the lesson.
All lessons are conducted in a friendly, informal manner and programs and lessons can be tailor-cut to suit the individuals needs from beginner to advanced levels.
I have experience teaching people with a variety of special needs and health conditions, and have successfully taught people with conditions such as Dyslexia , ADHD, Asperger's and Autism among other conditions. I plan each lesson to utilise the particular strengths of each student whilst at the same time making the lesson as fun and rewarding as possible.
I am also experienced in a whole wealth of playing styles and techniques and can cater for the following: Playing along with favourite songs, music theory, scales, arpeggios, sweep picking, two handed tapping, chord charts, improvisation and much much more.
